Ex-Spice Girl Emma Bunton and her singer boyfriend Jade Jones are expecting their first child. Baby Spice (31) is extremely happy with this wonderful news and won’t be sorry to be able to hand the ‘baby spice’ name down to her little one. Emma Bunton recently had a number three hit with a version of “Downtown” in the British charts.

The pretty blonde singer and Jade have been dating for eight years now and finally moved in together last year to a North London home.  Jade Jones, the former lead singer of Damage, is thrilled about the news. 

The former Spice Girl has already had her share of medical problems. In 2000 she had an operation that removed pre-cancerous cells from her cervix and at that time it was discovered she had endometriosis. Endometriosis causes the lining of the womb to come away and makes it very difficult to become pregnant. Bunton was very concerned about not being able to have a baby of her own, but after a recent visit to her doctors she had new hope. They told her the endometriosis seemed to be easing off. 

It has been no secret that Emma wanted to have a family soon.  She has been telling her friends she was feeling “broody” lately. The singer and her love are expecting their little miracle in the summertime.

Baby Spice is not the only Spice Girl who is pregnant at the moment. Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, is expecting a baby from the actor Eddie Murphy, she states.  Murphy is demanding a paternity test.  Geri Halliwell has been the proud mother of the little girl, Bluebell Madonna for over seven months now and Victoria Beckham has three little ones running around the house. Will Mel C surprise us with some great news in the near future?
