As we reported earlier this week at Paris Hilton blog that Kylie Minogue and Olivier Martinez were on the verge of breaking-up. Well, it’s official! The French actor and the Australian singer ended their four year relationship and officially confirmed their split. The reason for the split is mutual and amicable, but we all know that Martinez loves to ‘hang out’ with other lady friends.

Following their example are Ann Heche and cameraman Coley Laffoon. Laffoon filed for divorce last Thursday and the court documents state irreconcilable differences. The couple was married for over five years. Coley, 33,a nd Anne , 37, met in 2000 and got married in 2001. At that time he had already read Call me crazy, Heche’s memoir about her abusive childhood and her struggle with mental illness. The couple has one son, Homer who will turn five in March. Laffoon is seeking joint custody.

It seems like Heche doesn’t mind the break-up, because she has already been linked to James Tupper, who is her costar on Men in Trees. Tupper and his wife split up in November 2006. This rumor has not been confirmed by Heche or Tupper.

Another couple that has called it quits are the Canadian-born couple Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morisette. They split up after dating for almost four years and a year and a half after Reynolds proposed. They had never set an actual date, because they were utterly enjoying their engagement. The singer of You oughta know stated it felt like they were already married.

In June 2006 rumors were spread of an alleged break-up, but all seemed to work out okay for the both of them when they were reported seeing kissing, laughing and holding hands last October.

The publicists say the couple have split up, but will remain close friends and asked that we would respect their privacy.
